Matt Armstrong (monsterbrick) has created the full complement of Disney princesses with this series of seven figs.
Matt calls this scale “bricklings,” but to me they’re like micro Miniland people. Either way, they’re adorable.

Another something cute
Don’t ask me why I keep finding sci-fi creations that can pass for cute lately. Perhaps the holiday season is making my heart soft. Regardless, here’s an interesting, and cute, take on a Fuchikoma, by Dane Erland.

Can you say ornate? This build by Flickr user LegoManiac – LEGO 13 is a terrific model of a immensely detailed home. It was built for the 2010 Brick Architect Contest over at Flickr. I recommend checking the submissions out, it has some terrific entries which should pave the way for some tough judging!

Whether you’ve been naughty or nice, Robot Santa from Futurama will wreak havoc in your house. This LEGO version by Mark Anderson of Andertoons is sure to put the fear of Xmas in every child’s heart.
Santa’s not-so-little helpers
Carl Merriam built several large-scale pieces from LEGO for his local department store’s Christmas window. If you look closely, you can see just how big these elves are by comparing them to the R2-D2 that the blue elf is working on.

I saw this today on brickshelf in freeedrik‘s gallery. Made me feel Christmassy. I hope you all have a good one whatever you’re doing.
Boston’s Castle
Another late entry for Classic-Castle‘s contest: a simply beautiful rendition of “The Castle” of Boston University, built by Francesco Tavella. I really don’t have much more to add. The details on this building speak for themselves.
It’s all a matter of perspective.
Time’s running out to enter the Colossal Contest over at Classic-Castle! There are some fabulous entries this year, and it’s been a blast to watch them come through. I do not envy the judges.
Zack Milenius’s entry is all about relativity. Or, more specifically, Relativity.
I like the castle-twist to a classic art piece. It’s just a fun build.
Gray Castle
There’s some amazing architectural detail in this model, from the ground right on through to the roof. However, I would really like to know the cost estimate on a thing like this! The entire wall is made by a bunch of 1x2s by the looks of it. Keep up the great work!
