Park 0937: perfect LEGO theme park for all minifigs

It may have taken two years to complete this amazing diorama but Alexis Dos Santos definitely nailed it! Alexis covered the whole theme park with numerous attractions including a fantasy castle, horror mansion, drop tower, flyer, carousel, hurricane, log flume, circling railroad, Ferris wheel, gondola and many more!

Most of them seem to be fully functional with the help of Power Functions parts. The diorama is not only filled with amazing details but it is also built in a stylish manner which adds a lot of character. Park 0937 turned out to be our most favorite theme park ever!

Giant LEGO recreation of Force Awakens hangar holds four TIE fighters

Near the beginning of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Poe and Finn hijack a TIE fighter and make their escape. The scene plays out in the hanger of the First Order’s star destroyer, the Finalizer. This hangar has been painstakingly recreated in LEGO by LegoSpencer in this project that took six weeks to create. The final build features four official LEGO TIE fighter sets as well as a few dozen stormtroopers and an untold amount of detailing. For a closer look, you can also check out the builder’s thorough breakdown video.

Bringing Imperial order to the wretched hive of scum and villainy

Nikolai Mordan has built this awesome diorama of an Imperial base on Tatooine. It makes a fantastic backdrop for displaying LEGO’s UCS Imperial Shuttle, which looms ominously over the squads of stormtroopers and Imperial officers bringing the Imperial arm of order to the backwater oasis of Mos Eisley. I hope they find those droids they’re looking for.

100 years of Starbucks in LEGO

WingYew takes us time traveling in an unnamed city with a MOC that spans a hundred years, from the arrival of streetcars to the proliferation of megachains. The dueling coffeeshops are replete with excellently detailed interiors and give a striking sense of how little has changed – and exactly how much has changed.

The Voice of Evil

Duco Brugman (bloei) presents a nightmarish castle perched on top of glowing lava. There is also a video that shows moving features of the creation. One of my favorite parts is the eerie transparent green accent, which balances the overwhelming hot colors.

An Exception to Every Rule

I try to avoid posting creations based on the Halo games. There are simply too many of them around, and I don’t really think anyone wants to see another attempt at a Warthog. This diorama by legomocs. forced my hand, though. The micro scale frigate is nicely rendered, as is the accompanying Covenant spire, but neither is what caught my attention. The shape of the diorama and the angle of the ship combine to give this creation a great sense of motion. It’s difficult not to imagine the continuing flight path of the frigate, after seeing this one moment caught in time.

Catch! calls the Once-ler.

He let something fall. It’s a Truffula seed. The last one of all! You’re in charge of the last of the Truffula Seeds. And Truffula Trees are what everyone needs. Plant a new Truffula. Treat it with care. Give it clean water. And feed it fresh air. Grow a forest. Protect it from axes that hack. Then the Lorax and all of his friends may come back.

The Once-ler’s house is brought to you by Jason Allemann‘s girlfriend, who built this with his advice and collection.

A Tower to Protect

Jaka Kupina’s (Captain Flint) Guard Tower is packed with fun little details. The whole thing manages to look overgrown, un-cared for, and generally miserable while still having such a clean, lovely presentation. I particularly like the fence line, myself.
