My sister told me that her youngest son (aged 4) loved Lego, and loved books. So, for Christmas we sent him a book of Lego. Went down very well, and our nephew has been happily playing and creating to his heart’s content. Sure the book is completely unnecessary (in my day it was a folded up piece of paper with the instructions shoved into the box…), but hey – it looks cool, and its just a novel way of doing it that makes it unique and special.

This book and brick set has everything your little person needs to make several scenes. There are step by step illustrations which makes it easy for my 5 1/2 year old to do this himself. LOVE this set!
