Too Cool for School

Pool Party

Los Angeles, California- (BTT) For kids and teens in a hot weather climate, nothing is more refreshing on a hot summer’s day than a swimming pool. Not only is there no salt to get in your eyes, it’s private, can be accessed all the time, and you can swim AND snack, all at the same time. With this great pool deck scene, Katie (eilonwy77) has managed to fit in all of the feelings of summer into a beautiful little package. The curved wall, pool raft, multi-level deck, and great trees all come together to make this vibrant scene one of note

Industrial Building

There’s something about factories and industrial buildings that I just find intriguing. I guess it is just all the different components that go into making one work or just the shear power that seems to resonate from them. Perhaps it is the culmination of raw materials, logistics, and the facility itself that go into making the products that I find so interesting. Regardless, I don’t see many factory models too often, so this caught my eye immediately. What I like best about this particular model is the restriction to a simple three-color scheme meshed with varying heights in the structure itself. It turned out remarkably well. Great job Luky1987!

Japanese House

This was actually a coincidence, but when I stumbled upon this building I couldn’t help but post it here. This is an amazing creation, and best yet, it has a superb interior to go along with it. Who knew a musket could be such a good railing?

1893 Block

1893 Block, originally uploaded by Mdrn~Mrvls.

My 1893 Block featuring a bank, door factory, and theater hall.

This building has been done for the better part of two weeks. Last weekend, I attempted taking pictures, but the lighting was terrible. So, this morning I adjusted the exposure level on my camera, which appeared to work quite well.

I hope you all enjoy it, and to view more photos head on over to Flickr!

New Camera and New Building

New Camera
The white building is under construction, but I’m glad with how the new camera turned out. I really like the lighting that I caught on this one. I might change the white to a more rare color, but I still have to think that one over. Hopefully I can get this building completed within the month or so, so stay tuned!
