Schfio’s adorable baby LEGO bunnies celebrate Chinese New Year

Hong Kong LEGO fan Schfio recently posted a pair of rabbits that are so cute I’m not sure what could be cuter.

Although we welcomed the Year of the Rabbit with our Japanese readers back in January, most of the rest of the world celebrates the Lunar New Year alongside our readers in China. To all our readers in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Xi’an, Taipei, and everywhere else in the Chinese-speaking world, we wish you all 恭喜發財! May the new year bring peace, prosperity, and happiness wherever life takes you.

Leave it to the Building

The level of detail on this model is spectacular. The logo on one side and the store name and mannequins on the other really catches the real-life feel of a clothing store. However, the best aspect for me in this build is probably the windows. The switch from the small window on the left with its own protruding roof detail to the larger, more prominent windows on the right makes the design so much better. The colors work, the design works, and the name works. What’s not to love?

Nice Curves

This little artillery platform by Théo (Titolian) is simple but looks lovely. I quite enjoy the curved cross-section, as well as those incorporated into the front. The part use for the back of the missile pod (a fire truck basket, if I’m not mistaken), is also quite nice.

It’s Pretty Fancy….

A unique approach to the modular standard. The variation in details is superb, especially those vertical gray tiles which break up the white really well. The car is a great touch too. Very turn-of-the-centuryish if I do say so myself! Great job!

Militarized X-wing

Zane Houston shows us what the X-wing might look like if it were a modern military craft. It features folding wings and landing gear. The builder states that there’s more militarized Star Wars ships in the making. Will we see a TIE fighter soon?
