Porsche 911 Carrera by Arvo

It’s always a treat see a new creation by the Arvo brothers. They’re known to build great cars, and this one is no different. The slanted hood and roof give the model its realistic shape. Check out the gallery on Brickshelf for pictures of the chassis that features working suspension.

Cruisin’ in the Coupe

Peter Blackert (lego911) builds fantastic vehicles out of brick. This is simply a fact. His latest creation brings us back to the Roarin’ 20s with a brilliantly executed Ford Model A (1927) Deluxe Coupe ‘Grandfather’ design. More photos, including his mini-land scale Grandma and Grandpa, are found in his USA Holiday 2010 set.

First off I would like to apologize for my leave of absence. School’s coming around, so I must keep up with that. Thanks for staying with us!

Now onto this terrific creation. The mix between the middle-eastern architectural details and the “small town” look to makes for a fantastic view. The colors are rarities themselves, and who can’t love that sign?

Great job, and keep it up!

The Hog's Head

The Hog’s Head is a cute tudor house from Harry Potter but one that would look equally excellent on a castle layout. _Matn has many other lovely Harry Potter creations with inspiration for town and castle fans alike.

Arcturus interstellar freighter

Jon Walker posted pictures of his SHIP that won Best in Space and People’s Choice awards at BrickCon 2009. I love the unique donut-shaped cargo containers. The lack of gaps between the wedges reflects the perfect technique that Jon used to create these shapes. The sand green spine adds a hint of color and the inclusion of two microscale escort fighters completes the setup.

Dragon of the Night

The first thing that struck me about this dragon was the neck and torso. Fantastic job there. Cameron G. knocked this one out of the park. He calls this “Midnight Dragon”. I call it freakin’ cool.
