The last edition of Bionicle. They are called stars because they are the best Bionicle characters from the previous editions ever. This will be the final journey for the successful LEGO series since it’s launched on 2001.

LEGO Bionicle Stars

In this series, LEGO has slip in something not found in any other Bionicle series, the collectible GOLDEN ELEMENT.
You have to collect all the 6 Bionicle Stars in order to obtain all the golden element i.e. Golden Mask, Golden Shoulder Armour, Golden Body Armour, Golden Sword Shield, Golden Shoulder Armour, and Golden Shield.

If you’ve collected all the golden element, you will be able to build a Golden Toa. In the Bionicle stories, after obtaining the power of Mask of Life, Toa Tahu transformed and got the Golden Armor.
Transformed by the power of the Mask of Life, Tahu must embark on a dangerous quest – find the pieces of golden armor that will give him the power to save his people from disaster! The Toa of Fire uses his elemental power and Mask of Shielding to fight his way to victory.
With Golden Armor, Tahu beat Rahksi to ashes and completed the Mata Nui task to return Bara Magna to its nature.

Hero Factory Replaces Bionicle

Wizard World Magazine has revealed the pictures of HERO Factory, the successor of Bionicles.

The plot of the new line describes certain Heroes who fight evil across space and time, which pretty much sets the stage for an infinite possibility of expansion.

These new sets will be available on August 2010. Still no clue when it will arrive Indonesia. You can take a glance now.

7164 Preston Stormer
He’s the Hero Factory Alpha Team leader, having completed more missions than any other hero. Brave and tough, yet proud and competitive, he is armed with a built-in multi-functional ice weapon, featuring an ice saw, bolt shooter, and harpoon to stop anyone in their tracks.

LEGO Bionicles Discontinued !

After hearing it for some time, LEGO has made this official by announcing that 2010 will be the last year for new Bionicle sets; starting summer 2010 a new line of similar buildable figures will be released. This will mark the end of nine years since the arrival of the first Toa in 2001.

Below is the official announcement from LEGO:

Dear BIONICLE Fans,

In reviewing the business across all of its play patterns and properties, the LEGO Group faced a tough question: should we take on a new creative challenge in the world of buildable figures that we pioneered in 2001?

BIONICLE re-invented the way consumers think of and play with the LEGO system. Through many chapters of compelling story and innovative product development, BIONICLE became a very strong property and an important part of The LEGO Group’s business. We think there is a significant opportunity to grow the buildable figure category, but it will take a more flexible platform that appeals to a wider range of ages through a variety of different entry points than BIONICLE has proven to deliver.

The easy decision would be to stick with a known entity in BIONICLE; but as history has proven, The LEGO Group achieves its greatest success by embracing the uncertainty that innovation brings. After all, BIONICLE almost never launched because it was such a big risk to the company’s way of doing business.

Because you have been such an important part of building the BIONICLE franchise and have been among its most valued fans, we are writing to tell you that the six BIONICLE Stars launching in January will be the last BIONICLE sets for the foreseeable future. Beginning in summer 2010, The LEGO Group will debut a new, more flexible buildable figure property created by the same people who brought you BIONICLE. At the same time, we are also expanding the category to appeal to a younger audience through an established third-party property, starting in January.

Since its beginning, BIONICLE has reflected the union of great product and a compelling story. Although there presently are no plans for more sets, the BIONICLE story is not ending. BIONICLEstory.com will remain an active site, with new story content updated by long-time BIONICLE writer Greg Farshtey. Bright Up With LEGO Lights

LEGO Lights are going to bright up Medan.

For Medanese, it is hard to find LEGO accessories in Medan. Those refers to items such as LEGO bags, LEGO apparels, and many more. You can only find a limited number of LEGO watches, LEGO Stylus pens, ice maker etc.

I personally like the lantern. Ben 10 Alien Force In LEGO

lego ben 10 alien force Seems like 2010 is a year of movie characters. Aside from Toy Story that will be launched next year, LEGO also adds Ben10 Alien Force to their products launch.

Ben 10 has been a phenomenal cartoon for kids everywhere (including mine). I still remember 2 years ago, I have this conversation with one of my buddy. He told me that his son stopped playing LEGO and has been than attached to Ben 10. Luckily mine still plays LEGO until today, and we share each other.

With this LEGO Ben10 coming up, this will be great for both LEGO & Ben10 fans (especially kids).

LEGO has been testing the market for these items in Germany and the response till now is very good. These LEGO Ben10 assortments will sure come to Medan by 2010.

New LEGO Space Police

The LEGO Space Police has arrived.
Look at the cool set. The minifigs & the spaceship, I just love it.

The Lego Space theme features astronauts and spaceships. It was introduced in 1978. Space was one of the most expansive themes in Lego history, and contained over 200 individual sets. It was marketed under the Legoland banner until 1991. The banner’s name was changed to Lego System in 1992.

After 1999, the theme was dropped. It came back in 2009, but without multiple factions.
