The colours in this Street look really realistic. You can see more here. From pepik’s gallery.

Kaiju rampage in the micropolis of Tokyo!
Between lack of LEGO time and an unsorted collection, I’ve been struggling with what to build for BrickCon — especially Big in Japan. I wanted to build Tokyo Tower, a big Shinto shrine, Ginza, and the National Diet Building. My solution to build them all was to go microscale.
Naturally, every Tokyo skyline needs a rampaging Godzilla-style monster, or kaiju. From the moment I saw the alien in the LEGO Star Wars set Freeco Speeder, I couldn’t help but thinking he would make a great kaiju.
This was my first attempt at following the Micropolis Micro City Standard and gives me an opportunity to enter Reasonably Clever’s 2nd Micropolis Building Challenge (for which the deadline has been extended to July 24th, by the way).
After I’d finished six standard Micropolis modules for Tokyo, I experimented with some non-standard, non-urban modules, and ended up with Himeji Castle.

Blue Bard’s Weird Social Club
19th Century Office Tower
This design incorporates the use of light and dark contrasting to emphasize form and conceals roof structures with a decorative crowning parapet.
And it works perfectly. Great building, can’t wait to see more!
Welcome to old town
Karwik (Noddy) made a nice setup of an old and run-down part of some city. Using the basic studs-up technique with varied colored plates and 1X1 rounds, he is able to achieve a believable texture on the walls. The dark blue also works surprisingly well.
LUGpol Lego Exhibilition in Warsaw starts July 10
Ever wonder why creations with the LUGpol logo are so awesome? If you are in Warsaw on July 10 and 11, you can stop by the Museum Of Technology (Muzeum Techniki) to see the best LUGPol creations in person and mingle with their members. The exhibit lasts until the end of September and features creations from varied themes and includes large city, castle, and Star Wars dioramas and much more.
If I were in miniland, I’d live in a Victorian house by Rae
Rae McCormick’s (SoftaRae) newest Victorian house not only features a beautifully textured sand blue exterior, it has a cozy interior as well. For all of its details, it’s no wonder why this creation won the Best Large Building award at Brickworld.
Dive Shop
Rarely is orange seen in MOCs of any type, but MOCpages builder Brian Lyles put it to good use. The simple storefront makes way for a good interior. Not overdone on the details, this building is a great display of architecture.
New Camera and New Building
The white building is under construction, but I’m glad with how the new camera turned out. I really like the lighting that I caught on this one. I might change the white to a more rare color, but I still have to think that one over. Hopefully I can get this building completed within the month or so, so stay tuned!
