There is something engaging about a well-built bus. I have no idea what it is, since nearly all of my experiences on long bus rides have been bad. However, regardless of my own past experience, Karwik has built a charming bus, complete with bus stop.

LEGO Technic Starcraft 2 Banshee
This banshee, by Antti Havala, is incredibly gorgeous and that isn’t something you can say about a lot of Technic builds. Sporting four rotors, two motors, adjustable rotor pitch and two LED headlights, this Banshee screams for attention.

V-30 Warhawk “Spirit of Freedom” fighter by JonHall18
We really could blog pretty much every impossible plane that Jon Hall builds, but some of them do fall through the cracks. Thankfully, I didn’t miss this lovely fighter in red.
It’s also interesting to see what kind of process builders use to develop their ideas. Jon sketches many of his designs beforehand, and he’s shared some of those sketches on Flickr.
Muntstraat Police Headquarters
Jasper Joppe Geers incorporates some beautiful custom Art Deco windows into his design for this two-story building with a complete interior.
Every Piece in its Place
The level of thought and planning that must have gone into building this scene is quite impressive. Paul B. Hartzog has given us a truly lovely sci-fi interior scene. From the mating of the prints on the dish and the wing pieces at the center of the composition to the single removed floor panel (revealing circuitry underneath), everything about this scene clicks. There’s enough to see here that the composition doesn’t suffer from its lack of minifigs. Even the ceiling has a nice level of detail!
Pretty Postkutsche
If you don’t know German, you can say “Snazzy Stagecoach” instead.
Whatever you call it, this rendition of a German Postkutsche, by Jojo, is spot on. I love the details and the harness is a great touch.
Brick Sets
I love it when someone else does some clever work so you don’t have to. Mike Yoder (builder42) has been experimenting with ‘stage set’ dioramas. Each of them involves arranging a set of basic structures into formation for a single shot. Personally I think this is a great idea and one I hope to see more of.
Cole abuses his bricks
There are many large-scale Lego bricks out there, but this one, by Cole Blaq, is the first broken one that I’ve come across. It must be a clone brand…no one would destroy actual Lego, right? Right!?
