Most people are satisfied with simply uploading a bad picture of their LEGO tablescraps and adding them to their group. Nothing so simple was on the agenda for Brent (thwaak). He arranged, narrated, photographed and edited. And I’m glad he did.

Winter Break

My latest work is not something I typically build. It’s my first forced perspective build, my first imitation of a 2D image, and also my first time building a MOC for a single photo. You can see the original painting and its meaning on Flickr.
A tale of two creatures
Here’s a double feature of two creatures by Sean and Steph Mayo (Siercon and Coral). The first is called a serpent fly, which features great use of parts from the 1999 Insectoid theme. The second is a crystal dragon who not only looks angry but also deadly enough to inflict serious damage with those spikes on his back.

We All Need Robot Insurance

As it says in Rob’s description, Old Glory Insurance was the first insurance company to offer insurance against robot attacks. I never knew this. I’ve always just thought of it just as a joke, partly due to the Saturday Night Live skit (who Rob so graciously pays tribute to.)
