1893 Block

1893 Block, originally uploaded by Mdrn~Mrvls.

My 1893 Block featuring a bank, door factory, and theater hall.

This building has been done for the better part of two weeks. Last weekend, I attempted taking pictures, but the lighting was terrible. So, this morning I adjusted the exposure level on my camera, which appeared to work quite well.

I hope you all enjoy it, and to view more photos head on over to Flickr!

Definitely not a bored room

Boardroom Table

I usually steer clear of multi-coloured brick-because-it’s-in-fashion art and design but I have to confess this particular boardroom table caught my eye. Not only is it genuinely made entirely of real LEGO (22k pieces of it no less) but there is no glue involved and a bunch of cute details including the client’s name.

As an added bonus the designers have included a 2-minute stop motion video of its creation down the bottom of the page.

Action!

Collateral damage

Hans Dendauw (Tigmon74) has done a great job of capturing a moment with this diorama. The chunks flying look great, and I absolutely love the tumbling speeder bike and driver. He also seems to have used a blacklight to give the trans neon bits a bit of a glow.

And you thought actors could be moody.

We’ve all heard it, right? Actors declining roles for “creative differences”
right. Creative differences. On the actor’s part? After this fantastic brickfilm from mobiledeli, I’m personally more inclined to say it was the director with the issues. This one certainly has them.
