As follow up to his A New Hope chess set, Brandon Griffith (icgetaway) presents another beautiful set that captures the key characters from The Empire Strikes Back. I really like the Hoth themed game board, and the fact that it also acts as storage for the pieces is another plus. Check out the full details on Flickr.

Finding Fortune
There are many things that draw me to this lovely little creation. The waterfall just jumps out, and I love the not-square base. Posted by David Leest, recently out of his dark ages. I’d say he’s coming out of those dark ages quite strong!
Amazing Interior

These amazing interiors were created by Brixe. I especially like the curtains and the red and brown chairs.
It’s a….robot. Congratulations!
I really, really want to make a joke about where robots come from, but I just can’t do it. This robot-tyke is far too cute for something like that. Titolian, it’s adorable.
CC-Standard Cast Iron Florist
A building overgrown by flowers. A very well thought out creation built to service anybody in need of some plants. It even contains a floor dedicated to garden supplies! Looks like it belonged on the Cafe Corner street the entire time. Nice work, and keep up the building sonicstarlight!
Grand Leguini’s House
The details on this are just fantastic! The dark red and dark blue clash with the white to form a really imposing structure and the ornate arches surrounding the windows give the sense of wealth and prominence attributed to a mysterious magician such Grand Leguini. We’ll have to keep a closer eye on this builder, nice work!
Shop in the Orient!

BrickFanTown is at it again! Built by a group of Japanese AFOLs, BrickFanTown is thriving and now supports an “exotic” district. It features all sorts of small shops and alleyways from noodle shops to small kiosks under the awnings. The variations in colors and architecture is what it is all about, and that’s what I like best about these. They’re fun to look at, but they still maintain a realistic aura about them.
Very well done!
New Ironsides
This mecha doesn’t have quite as many guns as the USS Constitution did, but I’m sure it would carry as fearsome of a reputation. This is a job well done by kidthor. There’s a lot of great surface texture on both the body and the legs. I also love how well it balances on its tiny feet.
