Residential Revival
Courtesy Residential Houses by Brian Lyles |
A very clean and sharp design to some residential homes. I don’t know what it is, but I’ve been finding a lot of models recently using rare, or fairly unused, colors…and they look awesome. Keep it up!
Oh and instructions for this building should be available at his website, Brick City Depot.
Enjoy!
*NOTE* I am aware of the new LEGO Modular Building (which is a Pet Shop!) being released May 10th. I’m sticking with the original rules and will be posting the official release only when it is available, if you want to see a picture of the set, head on over to The Brothers Brick.
Going to a Western Picture Show

An excellent choice of colors for this model. The covered wagon is especially neat and who can’t recall the classic outlaw poking around the buildings like in the old TLC sets? Very cool creation!
Watch Your Favorite Mummy Movies!

Now and forever playing: The Mummy. Enjoy!
Hotel Christiansund

A spectacular model based off the real thing. The attention to detail is incredible, especially above the windows. The colors really go together nicely as well.
Oh…and Happy Easter everyone!

Well, its finally uploaded! I’ve been meaning to put this up for awhile now. Anyways, here’s my Old Town Building. I was going for the classic American small town look. Hope you enjoy!
Property Values Rise!
Courtesy Derelict Building by Marin Stipkovic |
Well…not really. In reality this would be an eyesore, but in LEGO, it sports a realism factor rarely seen among models. The brickwork behind the facade is so cool. Keep it up!
Dinner and a Movie

Now this is neat. The “Empire” and Octan logos are awesome and it just goes to show why dark orange is a such a fantastic color to build with. I’m getting some nice 50s vibes from this. Terrific work!
Got cat food?

A nice little shop with a great interior. I do hope that’s not a dead parrot being sold though.
Buildings on Every Corner
Courtesy Urban Landscape #2 – 2011 by Jonathan Lopes |
It’s a good chance we have posted something from Mr. Lopes before, but recently, he posted an update of his town with all sorts of cool buildings and models. Take a stroll past the fire station, through the train yards, or to Al’s diner. Or maybe you’re after a tattoo or want to play some pool? Let’s just say urban decay never looked so good.
Looks real, doesn’t it? |
